Project Description: Provision of a Temporary CDD-E at Bethanien Hospital Plauen

Project Background
In May 2022, Metedi undertook a significant project at Bethanien Hospital Plauen, under the leadership of HP-Medizintechnik, specialists in medical technology.

Our Task and Solution
Our primary task was to provide a temporary solution for the cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes. Metedi installed an CDD-E (Cleaning and Disinfection Device for Endoscopy) from Olympus in a specially designated container. This temporary setup ensured that the hospital’s endoscopic services could continue uninterrupted during renovation phases.

Execution and Outcome of the Project
The challenge involved efficiently and safely installing the CDD-E in a container, without disrupting the existing medical procedures. Thanks to the careful planning and execution by Metedi and HPMedizintechnik, the project was successfully implemented, ensuring the continuity of endoscopic care at Bethanien Hospital Plauen.
